Clouds cascade against a sea of light gray
The sun is tucked away in bed Decided to take a day off Hiding in blankets Fighting off the chills You look up in the sky expecting to see shapes But the puzzle of the clouds is blank Tabula Rasa The wind shakes the branches And the trees put on their coats But the wind can not move the clouds The unmoving slate of gray stays in place Like a sheet of granite in the sky |
