Wisdom reveals the waking eyes of worldly knowledge
Perched among a blizzard of lonely introspection
Accepting the uselessness of crying out for comfort
Extraordinarily aware that no intensity of heat
Can melt away the imprisoning crystals of ice
Surrounding the innocent intentions of an observant creature
Settling in to combat impending winter
Among the safe and the wanted.
