Summer Nights
by Gilmar Perez '16
The long summer nights have always consisted of the simple joys in life: friends, late night chats, bonfires, and the feeling of joy with the summer breeze rolling through. These nights would always provide some kind of new scenery and emotion that is raw and pure. You wouldn't find this kind of emotion in your typical friends. You discover it with those closest to you. These friends are those who are so close to you that you can let your freak flag fly and let be who you want to be. You could embrace you inner child and blow bubbles that carry on the memory of being a youngling. Each shimmering shine from that bubble represents the good times of being young and free. There is beauty to these memories, each so unique and always a different story full of different emotions. These stories are passed through the friends near you. Sometimes embracing that inner kid brings out the creativity in you.
