Ode to the Clock

Oh Clock
The wonders you show me
Keeping time on your two little hands
When most people can not keep their heads

Clock the wondrous music you make
With your tick and your tock
You are creating a song for the world
A song that should be heard by all

Clock you are the master of time
You inform the world when it is noon
And the world knows it is noon
It never contradicts you

Clock you show beauty and mystery
You tell time when to speed up or slow down
I can not imagine a world without a clock

Clock you are lovely.
