the lights that shimmer.
the love that is glowing.
it is christmas season.

snow is falling.
cocoa steaming.
mittens yanked on.
snowballs flying.
the snow that glistens.

lights everywhere.
rooms dimmed in rainbow.
tree lights alone as the only source of light.
the lights that shimmer.

mistletoe hung.
cuddles and christmas pajamas.
family gatherings.
the love that is glowing.

everyone knows the songs.
everyone knows the man in red.
everyone remembers the constant love in their hearts.
it is christmas season.
