"Human Celebration"

12-25: Logs 1-6
Log 1: 12-25 00:00 I have successfully landed on the strange blue planet. Its air is oxygen heavy (Clearly Poisonous) I don't believe there are any signs of intelligent life. I will soon put on my hazard suit and venture forth Log 2: 12-25 00:47 Cold. The ground is covered in frozen water, the temperature reads 567 degrees flipnar. This planet must be hard to inhabit. I can see the traces of smoke in the distance, and i will travel towards it. Log 3: 12-25 01:03 Something strange is going on. I have come across what is clearly a primitive village, with many cabins built of wood. I can hear the Homo sapiens chanting a strange ritualistic song, I believe this may be some sort of religious sacrifice? Will confirm further. Log 4: 12-25 01:17 The “Humans” as they are commonly referred to, are currently giving each other decorative shapes. They must not like them, as these colorful creations are being skinned. Maybe it is like a Grulnak Egg, where the tasty food lies at the center? Regardless, the trading of vibrant objects seems to be related to the chanting. I believe the chants are not related to sacrifice, but celebration. Celebration of what? I will repair my Hubrak-translation device and see if I can understand what these “humans” are celebrating. Log 5: 12-25 03:01 Its beautiful. The Humans are celebrating the birth of a saviour. I wish that my people too, could one day have a saviour to celebrate with strange colorful objects and silly chants. These Humans are a rather curious bunch. They have decorated one of the native fauna with lights and metallic orbs. They have been taking the colorful objects from underneath this plant, maybe they are fruit of the tree? I will reconvene further. Log 6: 12-25 04:38 Back on Varnaxalon, we didnt have celebrations. It was hard to celebrate on the home world when life was so bleak. But these humans, even with their sad existence in a frozen wasteland, still manage to find something to be hopeful for, and something to celebrate. I wish my people could be more like that.
