"Everything is OK For the Holidays" by Jessica Rici
Art by Anonymous

Snow glistens like the ocean surface,

Breathing it cold breath onto the planet.
The trees sway with the impact of the frost,
The ground a glowing white under the moon.
Smells of cinnamon and pine swirl in the air
With the sound of a guitar and crackling fire.
The holidays are a time to look out the window and appreciate what you see.
It is a time to know everything is okay.

Sitting with a hot coffee between your hands
Not only warms you up,
But it makes your soul happy.
