Darkness

I think they're coming for me
the things I can't believe
and bringing with them darkness
that washes over me

They've been coming for a while
but not when light is near
for only when it's night
am I filled with fear

I think they're coming closer
to haunt me from near by
I think they're coming closer
to tear me from inside

I think I hear their echo
as they come my way
I think I see them creeping
but nothing can I say

They reach their hands out towards me
and try to grab me tight
but the day has now arrived
and with it so has light
