Snowy Musings

Excitement threw me down the stairs
It is Christmas, It is Christmas, It hangs in the air The tree was lit and the party had started When it begun I knew peace and silence departed Presents and people it made me quiet dizzy So I snuck outside while everyone was busy As I stood in the cold winter air, I stopped to take in the sounds Of carolers passing, making their rounds And I must admit it was a sight As the snow fell over the street that night The blanket of white silenced the world with a hush And told families to stay with each other and not rush Christmas is a time to spend with your family and friends And remember the joy until your time ends Do not think of Christmas as a time only for gifts Because in the end you will realize all the good times you have missed |
